...as Linda Lewis sings her last refrain, passing away on May 3rd at just 72 years of age. Renowned for her 5 octave vocal range she did backing vocals for many artists(including Bowie on his Aladdin Sane album) before gaining solo success with the aforementioned track which peaked at 15 on the UK charts, following that with 'It's In His Kiss' - a cover of Betty Everett's 'Shoop Shoop Song' - making number 6 in the UK Top Ten. Two of her other single releases plus 'Rock' feature during this show along with another celebrity NS6@4 selection courtesy of long time amigo Hitsville. Three proper love songs in Saturday Love and a whole lot of other seldom heard goodies fill the gaps...enjoy Soulsters.
